The effectiveness of the grain industry in the Republic of Tatarstan (economic article)

In the article questions the economic efficiency of the grain industry in the Republic of Tatarstan, an assessment of the achieved level of economic efficiency of grain production, are determined by the estimated quantities of grain production in Tatarstan and other regions of the Volga Federal District.
In the Volga economic region, the Republic of Tatarstan has a special place, it has a high level of gross agricultural output. With a 2.2% agricultural lands, RT produces 4% of its agricultural products. Tatarstan is the basis of crop grain production.
Grain production is the leading sector, not only farming, but the whole of agriculture. The strategic nature of the product, the scale of the grain industry, extensive inter-industry linkages have a significant impact on the state of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In some years, grain production per capita RT more than 2 tons. In the not very fruitful in 2004, for example, the republic produced 1,019 kilograms of grain per capita, but it’s at 37 and 47 percent respectively higher than the average for the Volga Federal District and the Russian Federation as a whole. Grain yield in 2004 in our country was also significantly – by 42 and 30 percent respectively, higher than in the Volga Federal District and the Russian Federation.
Analysis of the gross grain harvest in the last decade has shown that the production of these products in the region is subject to considerable fluctuations under the influence of weather conditions. However, the alignment of the time series of indices with a linear trend indicates that the positive dynamics of change in volume of grain production in the country and even some increase of this indicator in the forecast until 2010 (Fig. 1).

ON IMPROVEMENT OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISM OF GRAIN FOOD SUB IN MARKET CONDITIONS

Organizational-economic mechanism of grain products sub should develop the following two areas: the formation of regulated grain market as a link between the subjects grain subcomplex and improving the organizational and economic relations of grain processing enterprises with large agricultural enterprises of the solvent-grain and livestock specialization.
Currently, a number of factors is a barrier to rural producers to the national market for grain products. These are: the unpredictability of the grain market, the lack of information about the situation developing on him, various restrictions on free trade by the municipal authorities; insolvent consumers, the rising costs of production, storage and processing of grain, growing competition and high interest rates the bank for the use of credit and lack of space available for bidding, auctions, tenders, etc. The grain market today dominates the intermediary by dictating the conditions of sale and the producer and consumer zernoproduktsii.
You can remedy the situation by restoring economic ties between suppliers and consumers to stabilize the flow of goods from one company to another (from raw materials to finished products) and cost reduction, and, consequently, prices of finished products. Bridging the differences between independent enterprises, related to each other within a single technological cycle is possible through vertical integration of these businesses.

THE PROBLEM OF OPTIMIZATION OF THE STRUCTURE OF GRAIN PRODUCTION CYCLE (Lecture Agricultural Economics)

Need to optimize the industrial structure of agro-industrial complexes and, in particular, grain products sub follows primarily from the specificity of agricultural production. Sectoral structure of agriculture is influenced two opposing trends. One of them consists in the pursuit of agricultural production to greater specialization. Other – heavy reliance of agriculture on natural climatic conditions, different working periods and periods of production in some industries, the periodicity of use of their labor and capital goods. This trend is the desire to farm a certain combination of these industries and cultures, makes multi-sectoral character of agricultural production.
